DABOLIM: The Dabolim Airport Police on Sunday registered an offence against one Sayyed Ibrahim Kadri a resident of Katem Baina.
According to sources, the offence was registered based on a complaint lodged by Lady assistant sub inspector who was on duty at Dabolim Airport.
“The lady police staff complained
that while she was performing her lawful duties at Dabolim Airport, Dabolim, the accused person violated the traffic rules U/sec 177 of MV Act. In the process of issuing M V challan to the accused person, the accused started arguing with on duty LASI (police) and used abusing with filthy language, insulting modesty and threatening to Kill the complainant.” said the source.
Dabolim police have registred an offence against the accused Sayyed Ibrahim Kadri under sections 353, 504, 509, 506(ii) IPC and under section 177 of MV act.
Further investigation is in progress with Head Constable Saish Ajgaonkar of Dabolim Airport Police Station.
