SANKHALI: A manager of the Matoshri Padmini Educational Society (MPES), Sankhali, lodged a police complaint on Wednesday alleging criminal trespass and threats at the society’s property in Harvalem.
According to the complaint filed by Santosh Malik, Manager of MPES, the incident occurred around 10:45 am at the property known as Umalichi Mali, Plot No. E1, admeasuring 39,506 sq. m, bearing Survey No. 60/4 of Harvalem village.
The accused, identified as Ulhas Shantaram Samant of Copardem, Sattari, allegedly entered the property without permission and threatened the management members who were present at the site and carrying out work. He reportedly warned them to stop the work, allegedly without following due legal procedure.
The complaint was filed at 16:25 hrs on the same day.
Police said that further investigation is being conducted by LPSI Sonali Harmalkar of Bicholim Police Station.
