FATORDA: Goa Forward Party (GFP) Vijai Sardesai today has demanded resignation of Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant over municipality ward reservation and delimitation process matter.
“Pramod Sawant is now a certified cheat. He defied the Indian Constitution and strangled democracy; and got caught. It’s no more about resigning as CM, he has no moral right to remain in public life,” said Sardesai
He further said that Supreme Court
rejected CM Sawant’s Ardh Satya and shattered illegal attempts to cheat the people, manipulate the elections and derail democracy.
” If you’ve any of sense of propriety or respect for the rule of law, resign,” he added
He further said that democracy has been restored from the destructive hands of Pramod Sawant abd his govt by both High Court & Supreme Court.
“The BJP’S idea of democracy which is nothing but electoral defrauding & cheating is put to an end! This is a victory for all Goans,” Vijai said
GFP President further said that the highest court of the land has crushed Pramod Sawant’s blatant attempt to violate our Constitution and derail Democracy.
He said “He brought disgrace not only to Goa but also to his own leader Narendra Nodi who had bowed before the Constitution before taking office in 2019,”
