A 34-year-old murder convict lodged at the state Central Jail at Colvale died today. Murder accused Shailesh Mapari fell unconscious in the jail premises and later succumbed at the Mapusa District Hospital informed the Jail authorities. Mapari was convicted in the 2004 Sagar Chodankar murder case under section 302 of IPC.
