SALIGAO: Acting swiftly on tip of information received, Saligao Police arrested one Kameshu s/o Manda Venkata N/o Andhra Pradesh on 04/03/2025 U/s 35 BNSS for his suspicious involvement in crime.
During further enquiry it was revealed that the above said accused person is wanted in FIR No. 8680/2024, FIR No.211/2025, FIR No 584/2025, FIR No 23/2025 all registered u/s 318(4) BNS act 2023, 66-D of IT act at Cyber Crime Police Station Cyberabad District, Telangana.
The accused person is also suspected to be involved in 8 other cyber crime cases registered in the states of Gujarat, Uttarpradesh, Karnataka, Maharastra, and west Bengal. Cyber Crime Police Station Cyberabad District, Telangana and Police Team from Telangana have left to Goa for investigation into the same.
Accused is also suspected to be involved in more such Cyber related offences. The accused was produced before Sub Divisional Court Mapusa and obtained (02) days Judicial Custody.
The team consisting of PSI DishanNaik, PC-7244 Rahul Angolkar and PC 8143 TulshidasGawas under the guidance of PI SomnathMahajik of Saligao PS, and under overall supervision of SDPO Porvorim Vishweshkarpe and SP (N) Porvorim Akshat Kaushal, IPS had made hectic efforts and commendable job in arresting the accused person involved in cyber-crimes.
