Navelim: A resident of Calwaddo, Navelim, sustained injuries after being hit by a scooter within a housing society complex.
According to a complaint lodged by Keagan Cardoz, a resident of Calwaddo, Navelim, the incident occurred on October 20, 2025, around 10:20 a.m. Cardoz, along with two other society members — Allan Menezes and Myra Coutinho — was standing outside the office of Dream Skyline Housing Society when the accused, identified as Arvind Coutinho, allegedly rode his Chetak electric scooter in a rash and negligent manner through the society premises.
The scooter reportedly struck Cardoz from behind, hitting his left elbow and causing injuries to his arm and other parts of his body.
The matter is currently under investigation by ASI Rosario Dias of the Margao Town Police Station.
