Nationalist Congress party led by Party president Jose Philip D’Souza on Wednesday demanded that the Government immediately take steps to build the Vasco Fire building which is pending for several years .
D’Souza said that the Vasco fire building was demolished many years after declaring it unsafe but was not built as yet for the last many years.
D’Souza said that there estimates we’re prepared and cancelled and Everytime the new proposal was made, estimates would increase and the estimate which began initially at 3 crores now had gone up to 15 crores. D’Souza said that many projects in Vasco city were pending for several years .
D’Souza said that he will take up the issue with CM and also write to the Govt to get the project completed as soon as possible.
