SANCOALE: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that the University of Legal Education and Research at Sancoale will contribute to the State and help the legal fraternity.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant attended the First Foundation Day Celebrations of the Indian International University of Legal Education & Research Bar Council of India Trust at Sancoale, Goa.
“The University of Legal Education and Research at Sancoale will contribute to the State and help the legal fraternity. Also, NEP 2020 will help strengthen legal education,” said CM Sawant.
He further said that a permanent campus will be built at Dharbandora, and once completed, the current building will be allotted to Kala Bhavan.
Sawabt said the new NEP is based on four pillars: Access, Equity, Quality, and Accountability and sought cooperation from all for the successful implementation of the National Education Policy in the State.
Underscoring the role of the Government in implementing various initiatives in the State of Goa, the Chief Minister said the Government has implemented several new educational policies to further improve the education system in the State.
Sawant said that NEP 2020 is a comprehensive policy framework that aims to reform and revitalize the education system in India.
He appealed to the stakeholders to provide constructive suggestions and feedback to further strengthen the policy.
He added that implementing this policy is a combined effort of all stakeholders in the education sector.
The Chief Minister said we must build the students’ future, and the Government is ready to provide the required infrastructure.
He advised the students to take steps that lead to a successful career through innovative ideas.
