PANJIM: A Nepali National Umesh Khadka today was arrested by Anti Narcotics Cell of Goa Police for allegedly possessing suspected ganja and charas worth Rs 81,500.
The ANC raided his rented premises at Arambol during the late hours of Friday.
Under the supervision of SP ANC Mahesh Gaonkar, DySP ANC Sunita Sawant, PI Sudesh Velip, PI Shitakant Nayak, team of PSI Rohan Madgaonkar, ASI Satyawan Naik and staff conducted raid on 11.09.2020 in the night at Arambol, Pernem and caught red handed accused Umesh s/o Puran Khadka age 25 years, Nepali National with 101 grams of suspected Charas and 310 grams of suspected Ganja W/Rs 81500/- in international market.
Drugs were found concealed in rented room. Offense vide No. 10/2020 under relevant sections of NDPS Act stands registered at ANC PS on 12.09.2020. Investigation officer PSI Arun Dessai. Accused remanded to 3 days Police custody.
