PANAJI:The annual Directory 2025–2026 of the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman was released on Thursday, August 21, on the occasion of the feast of St. Pius X. The release was carried out by Archbishop Patriarch Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrão and Auxiliary Bishop Simiao Fernandes at the Archbishop’s House, Altinho, Panjim.
They were joined by Fr. Barry Cardozo, Director of the Diocesan Centre for Social Communications Media, Fr. Joaquim Loiola Pereira, Secretary to the Archbishop, Sr. Rita Frois (hc), and staff members of the Communication Centre — Ms. Janet Barcellos and Mr. Romualdo Fernandes.
The Directory provides detailed information about the Church in Goa and Daman (covering the Union Territories of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli), along with data on parishes, religious institutes (men and women), educational institutions, technical schools, and various other services offered by the Archdiocese to society.
Copies of the Directory will be available from next week at the Lighthouse (Margao), Pauline Book and Media Centres (Panjim and Mapusa), the Pastoral Institute (Old Goa), and at the Archbishop’s House (Altinho, Panjim).
Published by the Diocesan Centre for Social Communications Media, the Directory serves as a vital resource to connect the Archdiocese by offering essential contact details. The Centre also continues its mission of fostering communication, building relationships, and promoting media empowerment within the Archdiocese.
