PANAJI: Principal District Judge and Sessions Judge North Goa Irshad Agha today in an order has informed all the Advocates, litigants & public in general are hereby informed that in the first phase of shifting, the District & Sessions Courts, North Goa, Panaji and Civil & Criminal Courts, Panaji will be shifted and will commence functioning from the New District & Sessions Court Complex at Merces, Tiswadi-Goa from March 10, 2025.
“All the Advocates, litigants & public in general are hereby informed that in the first phase of shifting, the District & Sessions Courts, North Goa, Panaji and Civil & Criminal Courts, Panaji, which are presently functioning from the Lyceum Complex, Altinho, Panaji-Goa, will be shifted and will commence functioning from the New District & Sessions Court Complex at Merces, Tiswadi-Goa, w.e.f. 10.03.2025.” the order states
Further, the order states that the North Goa District Legal Services Authority, Panaji, which is presently functioning from the old District & Sessions Court Building, Near Panaji Residency, Panaji will also be shifted and will commence functioning from the New District & Sessions Court Complex at Merces, Tiswadi-Goa, w.e.f. 10.03.2025.
Meanwhile, Fast Track Special Court (POCSO), for the State of Goa will continue functioning from the old District & Sessions Court Building, near Panaji Residency, Panaji-Goa, until further orders.
