AHMEDABAD: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has condemned the controversial statement by made IFFI Jury Chief Nadav Lapid on the Film Kashmir Files.
IFFI Jury Chief Nadav Lapid termed the film “The Kashmir Files” as “propaganda” and “vulgar” while stating that he was “shocked” and “disturbed” by its inclusion in the competitive section.
“I condemn these acts and statements by IFFI Jury Chief Nadav Lapid. Shockingly, he used the IFFI platform to say such statement. Even the ambassador slammed Lapid stating that he misused the statement,’ said Sawant during a press conference in Ahmedabad.
Sawant also said that NFDC would take cognisance of this matter soon.
