PANJIM: Even as the Central Govt has exempted night curfew from Unlock 3, the State’ s ban on movement of public at night continue to be in force till August 10.
State government had last month imposed night curfew on movement of persons from 8.00pm to 6.00am till August 10.
When contacted, the office of District Collectorate North informed that the State Government order is yet to be withdrawn and hence the night curfew is still in place.
In view of the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the state, the North and South Goa District Magistrate haf issued an order in continuation of the lockdown rules and imposed Section 144 of the CrPC, restricting the movement of people for all non-essential activities between 8 pm to 6 am with immediate effect till August 10.
