PONDA: Goa Minister Ravi Naik has firmly denied any discussions related to a cabinet reshuffle during his recent meeting with BJP State President Damu Naik, stating that the conversation focused purely on strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
“Damu Naik visited me at my residence, and we discussed ways to strengthen the BJP in the state. No talks regarding a cabinet reshuffle took place,” Ravi Naik clarified, addressing ongoing speculation in political circles.
He further dismissed media reports hinting at a possible reshuffle in the state cabinet, saying, “The rumours are baseless and have been created by the media. There has been no such decision from the party leadership.”
The statement comes amid increased chatter in political and media circles about potential changes in the state’s ministerial lineup following the Lok Sabha elections.
Ravi Naik’s clarification aims to quell speculation and reaffirm the party’s current focus on internal organisational matters.
