PANAJI: On account of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) from November 20 to 28, no police personnel will be granted leave from November 18 to 30.
“No leave will be granted to any police personnel from Nov 18 to Nov 30 on account of the International Film Festival of India(IFFI) to be held in the state from Nov 20 to Nov 28,” the order issued by SP (HQ) Shekhar Prabhudesai
The order states that this has been done in view of major Law & Order arrangements and events.
Recently, the Union minister was on a two-day visit to Goa to take stock of the progress of work with regard to IFFI- 53 and various other development projects.
