PANAJI: In view of VVIP visits to the state, the Goa government has issued a circular that no leave of any kind shall be sanctioned to/by secretaries to government, HoDs and other senior officials, excel in exigencies, if approved by Chief Minister.
“In view of VVIPs visit to Goa; no leave of any kind shall be sanctioned to/by secretaries to govt, HoDs & other senior officials, excel in exigencies, if approved by CM,” the circular states.
President Droupadi Murmu will address members of the Goa legislative Assembly on August 23 in the assembly hall.
Murmu will be arriving in Goa on a three-day visit from August 22. This will be her first visit to Goa after being elected as the President.
Speaker of the Goa legislative assembly Ramesh Tawadkar on Thursday urged the members to be present for the address by the President in the assembly hall on August 23.
