PANAJI: JMFC Mapusa has issued non bailable warrant against Pratima Coutino and Aishwariya Salgaonkar for failing to attend a court hearing in the para teachers agitation that took place in 2017.
The Non Bailable Warrant will be executed on August 4.
The agitating para teachers had blocked the entrance to the Secretariat on November 2, 2017.
Porvorim Police had filed a charge sheet against Coutinho, Savitri Kavlekar and Aishwarya Salgaonkar of Congress and Para Teachers Smita Dessai, Reshma Dessai and Tripti Live.
The court had sent them summons on July 3, but Coutinho had not attended the court hearing that day. On Thursday, she handed over a bond for Rs 10,000.
