PANAJI: Day Two of the Shuttle Fiesta – North Goa District Badminton Tournament 2025 concluded with high-intensity matches and standout performances, as Aloisius Rodrigues & Vansh Natekar secured the U17 Boys Doubles title, while Jewel Abranches & Sampurna Patra lifted the U17 Girls Doubles crown. The tournament was organised by the North Goa District Badminton Association in association with the Goa Badminton Association and the Sports Authority of Goa.
In the U11 Boys Doubles, Jeet Raikar & Viaan Redkar edged out Ishaan Madgaonkar & Zacharias Gonsalves in a gripping three-setter, 15–6, 11–15, 15–10.
In U13 Boys Doubles, Rushank Kulkarni & Saksham Mhapuskar defeated Adharved Balakrishnan & Rian Soares 15–12, 15–13.
The U13 Mixed Doubles saw a dominant display from Viaan Redkar & Pihoo Redkar, who cruised past Pratyush Suryawanshi & Kia Shenoy 15–3, 15–5.
In the U15 category, Abraham Gonsalves & Samuel Gonsalves clinched the Boys Doubles title with a 15–6, 15–11 win over Adharved Balakrishnan & Ryllan Dsouza. The Girls Doubles U15 final witnessed a spirited comeback from Niharika Baljit & Pihoo Redkar, who beat Arya Kush Poll & Sanvi Shirodkar 13–15, 15–12, 15–6. The Mixed Doubles U15 title went down to the wire as Prajesh Gawas & Avni Nadodkar held off Samuel Gonsalves & Arya Kush Poll 15–8, 11–15, 15–13.
In U17 Mixed Doubles, Sanket Khanolkar & Ananya Kannekar prevailed over Aman Gawas & Jewel Abranches 15–11, 15–13.
The U19 Boys Doubles crown went to Darpan Rawat & Samuel Gonsalves, who defeated Gaurav Samant & Prabhodan Dessai 15–11, 15–13, while Aman Gawas & Jewel Abranches clinched the U19 Mixed Doubles title with a hard-fought 15–14, 15–13 win over Darpan Rawat & Arya Kush Poll.
The senior category wrapped up the event with two thrilling finals. In Men’s Doubles, Abhishek Swami & Mohammad Nadaf rallied to beat Chinar Kanekar & Dastagir Mulla 12–15, 15–7, 15–11. In Mixed Doubles, Mohammad Nadaf & Malaika Lobo came from behind to overcome Abhishek Swami & Sidhi Bhat 11–15, 15–7, 15–11.
