PANAJI: The Department of Transport will be launching online eService for obtaining Learners Licence without visiting RTO office, just by visiting the https://parivahan.gov.in or https://goatransport.gov.in websites.
The applicant has to answer online test after watching video about road safety which is provided on the same site. The assessment of test will be communicated to the applicant instantly and upon achieving desired passing of 60% marks, Learner License will be issued which the applicant can download and print the same.
The service is automated end to end with auto approval and interface with RTO office is eliminated. The service will be functional from July 5, 2021. Citizens can avail this facility visiting https://parivahan.gov.in or https://goatransport.gov.in
The Department has launched services related with goods permit in fully auto approval mode. There is no need to visit RTO office to avail these services. The governance is taken to citizens instead citizens visiting offices to avail services. Department has carried out business process reengineering in order to simplify the existing procedure and simplified and delivered various services in quick manner with minimum hassles.
Now the citizen need not visit RTO office for obtaining Learners License. Document validation is done through Aadhar authentication.
