PANAJI: Transferring ownership rights to rehabilitated individuals in Sada, Vasco, and other locations was the decision made at today’s Goa Rehabilitation Board meeting, which was headed by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
Three important projects were selected for fast-tracking, and the adoption of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model for upcoming restoration projects was also authorized at the conference.
The Board also talked about administrative issues, such as the establishment of positions required for staff regularization.
Finally, a request for grants of Rs 85 crore for the fiscal year 2025–2026 was granted by the Board.
Key discussions and decisions included: Transfer of Ownership Titles: Approval for transferring ownership titles to rehabilitated individuals in Sada, Vasco, and other locations.
Future Rehabilitation Projects: Adoption of the PPP model for future rehabilitation projects, with three identified projects to be fast-tracked.
Regularisation of Staff: Creating necessary posts. Salary and Grant Disbursement: Salary grants to be provided in a single installment in April, with revenue account grants to be released in two installments.
Budget Approval: The Board approved a demand for grants of ₹85 crore for the financial year 2025-26.
