PANAJI: National Medical Commission granted permission to Goa Medical College (GMC) to begin MD programmes in Geriatric Medicine and Immunology, Hematology, and Blood Transfusion.
“I am pleased to announce that National Medical Commission has granted permission to Goa Gmc to begin MD programmes in Geriatric Medicine and Immunology, Hematology, & Blood Transfusion,” said Health Minister Vishwajit Rane
He further said that it is a landmark achievement in the academic history of Goa Medical College & Hospital.
“I’d like to congratulate the Dean of Goa Gmc and his academic team on this accomplishment. The PG courses listed above are the most privileged because they are only available in a few centres and medical colleges across the country, including AIIMS,” he added.
