CANDOLIM: A tragic road accident in Candolim claimed the life of a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) man and left his wife critically injured after the couple was struck by a speeding rental car allegedly driven by a tourist.
The incident occurred while the couple was walking along the roadside. The impact caused severe injuries, and the husband later succumbed while undergoing treatment at Goa Medical College (GMC). His wife remains in critical condition.
