Cuncolim : In a gripping match at the Cuncolim ground, organized by the Cuncolim Union as part of the Vaidya Family Memorial Cup, Parish Youth Nuvem emerged victorious over Sports Welfare Club Zaino Velim in a nail-biting tiebreaker. The match, which ended 0-0 at full time, saw both teams display exceptional skill and determination.
Despite several missed opportunities, including open misses by Rozwin Fernandes and Nosh Pinto from Zaino Velim, and Joywin Costa and Stagan Colaco from Parish Youth Nuvem, neither team could break the deadlock in regular time. The stalemate persisted, forcing the match into a tiebreaker.
In the tiebreaker, Parish Youth Nuvem’s precision paid off as Nicolau Colaco, Shenoy Colaco, Mackvino Colaco, Darwin Colaco, and Frazier Miranda all scored, securing a 5-4 victory.
