COlVA: Colva police has arrested Odisha native for allegedly being in possession of ganja worth Rs 89,000 at Betalbatim.
As per information, the accused has been identified as Sumeet Mohan Das (32) n/o Odisha.
Police said that Das was found possession of bag containing flowery like substance, suspected to be Ganja weighing 895 grams W/Rs. 89,500/-, approximately and a weighing machine which are attached under Panchanama, after following all mandatory provisions of NDPS Act.
Accused is placed under arrest. Accused being interrogated with respect to source of the drugs. Further investigation is in progress under supervision of Ritesh Tari, PI colva PS and Sidhant Shirodkar SDPO Margao under overall supervision of Sunita Sawant, SP South.
