NAVELIM: Senior officials conducted an inspection at the Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Navelim, in connection with preparations for the bye-election to the 21 Ponda Assembly Constituency.
The inspection was carried out in the presence of IGP Goa Police Keshav Ram Chaurasia, District Election Officer South Goa Egna Cleetus, SP South Goa, SP (Election) and nodal officers.
During the visit, the team reviewed arrangements for the strong room, control rooms and counting hall to ensure all necessary preparations are in place for the counting process.
Officials assessed security measures and logistical arrangements at the venue and emphasized adherence to Election Commission guidelines to ensure smooth conduct of the counting related activities for the Ponda by-election.
