After Goa crossed the 1000 positive cases mark, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant admitted that the State has entered the community transmission stage and people need to be more alert.
In his COVID19 briefings, Chief Minister said that the COVID cases are now reported from everywhere including rural areas.
“Since cases are reported in rural areas, we cannot deny there is community transmission in the State,” Sawant said.
He, further said that the people have to strictly follow the mask, sanitizer and social distancing rule.
“I have asked the police to be very strict now. People must not unnecessarily move out of the houses,” he said.
