PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged citizens to embrace Swadeshi and promote it with pride, under the tagline “Garv se kaho hum Swadeshi bechte hain.” He noted that the appeal is in line with the vision of Swayampurna Goa and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Dr. Sawant also appealed to women in Goa to take advantage of the newly launched ‘Swast Naari Swasth Parivaar’ campaign announced by the Prime Minister. The initiative will be conducted across rural Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Community Health Centres (CHCs), offering free medicines and healthcare services exclusively for women.
The Chief Minister said that both initiatives reflect the government’s focus on strengthening self-reliance, promoting local products, and ensuring better health and well-being of women and families.
