MARGAO: Fatorda Police conducted a Narcotic raid at KTC Bus stand Margao and arrested one Mantesh Nevaragi s/o Malikarjun Nevragi, age 26 yrs, r/o Hno. 28, Near Hanuman Temple, Zuarinagar, Sancoale, Mormugao-Goa, in possession of 2.05 Kg Ganja W/Rs.2 Lakhs.
Fatorda PI Kapil Nayak received reliable information that one person will be coming near KTC Bus Stand Margao to deliver Ganja to the prospective customer.
Accordingly, the said information was conveyed to the patrolling team consisting of PSI Sarvesh G Bhandari, HC Nilesh Kaskar and HC- Mahendra Gaude, who apprehended the accused near KTC Bus stand and his search was carried out wherein he was found in possession of 02.05 kgs Ganja, W/Rs. 2 lakhs approximately.
The accused is booked under the NDPS act, and he is being interrogated to find out the source of the said Narcotic substance.
He is being produced before JMFC Margao for remand.
