MAPUSA: According to Mapusa police, a resident of Morod was arrested for using a knife to attack a 60-year-old man and insulting his daughter’s decency during a fight about the movement of a car close to the Mapusa subyard market.
According to the police, Jaffar Garodi was suspected of assaulting Pramod Korgaonkar with a knife and causing physical injuries after Anand Khobrekar, a resident of Cunchelin, filed a complaint against him. Korgaonkar and the accused got into a fight about a car’s movement at around ten in the morning on Sunday.
According to the police, Garodi used derogatory words to criticize Korgaonkar and his daughter, threatened them with severe repercussions, and further disparaged and infuriated Kor-gaonkar’s daughter’s modesty.
