VALPOI: Valpoi Police registered an offence following a complaint filed by Prathamesh, Police Sub Inspector of Valpoi Police Station.
The accused, Abhay s/o Rama Gaonkar, aged 23 years, residing at H. No. 278, Wadakade, Honda, Sattari, Goa, was apprehended red-handed in possession of approximately 631 grams of greenish flowering and fruiting tops of a plant suspected to be narcotic drug ganja.
The seizure occurred on 12 July 2025, between 12:30 pm and 3:45 pm at Kumbharkand, Honda, Sattari. The estimated market value of the confiscated contraband is Rs. 63,100.
The investigation is currently ongoing under the supervision of LPSI Sanisha Naik of Valpoi Police Station.
