MAPUSA: Mapusa Police have arrested 01 accused person for the chain snatching case, which occurred on 02/03/2023.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi on 02.03 .2023, Mrs Sunita Vikas Pawaskar, aged 66 yrs, R/o H . No. 74, Vithalwadi, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa, had lodged her complaint that 02.03.2023 at 10.30 hrs her residence her maid’s son, i.e. accused Mr. Nagraj Siddappa Hulennavar, aged 32 years R/o Ganganagar, Khorlim, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa trespassed into her house and after that snatched and stole away her gold chain weighing 16 grams W/Rs. 1,00,000/-
In this connection, an FIR for robbery under sections 452, 427, and 392 IPC was registered.
Further, during the Investigation, staff of Mapusa Police Station, after developing the information received through the public, intercepted Mr Nagraj Siddappa Hulennavar, aged 32 years R/o Ganganagar, Khorlim, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa and placed him under arrest.
PI Paresh Naik led the investigation team under the supervision and guidance of SDPO Jivba Dalvi and SP North Shri Nidhin Valsan, who monitored the Investigation and consisted of PSI Viraj Korgaonkar, Head Constable Sushant Chopdekar and Constables Priyesh Pednekar, HG Sushant Naik All of Mapusa Police Station
