PANJIM: Anti Narcotic Cell (ANC) caught a man for possessing 11.5 grams of MDMA drugs worth Rs 1.2 lakh during a raid conducted at Calangute during late hours of Tuesday.
The accused is arrested under relevant sections of NDPS Act.
The raid was conducted under the supervision of SP ANC Mahesh Gaonkar in the evening at Calangute and caught red handed accused Vinod s/o Hariram Sharma age 62 years, r/o Calangute with 11.95 grams of suspected MDMA W/Rs 1,20,000/- in international market.
Drugs were found concealed in scooter. Offense vide No. 12/2020 under relevant sections of NDPS Act stands registered at ANC PS on 07.10.2020. Investigation officer PSI Pritesh Madgaonkar.
