PORVORIM: The opposition MLAs boycotted the speech of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on ‘Vikasit Bharat’ at Goa Legislative Assembly, Porvorim.
“The combined opposition felt that we should disassociate ourselves from the speech of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on ‘Vikasit Bharat’ as some members were not taken into confidence,” said LoP Yuri Alemao
He further said that it is a democratic process and opposition cannot be taken for granted.
