CM inaugurates Paikul bridge, says the bridge was completed in a record time of 9 months

SATTARI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that the Opposition is trying to create confusion and division between him and Minister Vishwajit Rane.
CM Sawant was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the newly constructed Paikul bridge in Sattari.
“Opposition is trying to create confusion and division between us. There are no differences between us; we are working for the development of the state under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi,’ said Sawant.
Sawant said that the Goa Government has delivered another promise prioritizing the welfare and convenience of the people of Goa.
“The Paikul Bridge stands tall once again as a symbol of hope, bridging the gap and reconnecting the lives of the people to the mainland,” he added.
CM said that the Paikul bridge was completed in a record time of nine months.
The bridge consists of a span arrangement of 42.5m x 2 Nos.= 85 mts Foundation-Pile foundation of 1.2m dia & a length of 25m is proposed. The pile foundation will be in M35 concrete with 8mm liners.
Sawant said his government will prepare a ‘Vision Document’ for the next 25 years to achieve progress in various areas.
“We are committed to the progress of the state. My colleagues in the cabinet are also preparing a ‘Vision Document’ for the next 25 years for the state’s progress in their areas. We will develop this document (once it is ready).”
He also said that Goa Tourism Development Board (GTDC) has resolved to develop and expand the scope of Agro Tourism, Hinterland tourism in the state.
“Skill development is one of the primary focus areas under the state government’s Swayampurna Goa 2.0 initiative,’ he added.
Meanwhile, MLA Vishwajit Rane extended his gratitude to Pramod Sawant for accepting our request and ensuring the construction of this bridge for the people of Sattari.
“The Paikul Bridge will bring significant relief and reduce travel time for the people,” he added.
