Panaji: Kick Off Football Schools’ (KOFS) five-day football coaching camp concluded successfully at St. Cruz ground, on Friday.
Newly launched KOFS’ first initiative attracted 20 young and eager trainees right from the age of four to 14 giving their hearts out in learning The Beautiful Game.
The trainees underwent curated sessions on each day that included passing and receiving, dribbling, shooting concluded with matchday on Friday.
Trainees were thrilled to have former India international and current centre-back of Sporting Clube de Goa Joyner Lourenco take active part in the training session.
“It is lovely to see you all learn football and I hope you continue with the same enthusiasm,” said Joyner, who is also from St Cruz.
Adv. Myron Araujo also graced the ceremony and distributed certificates to the trainees.
As a token of appreciation and to commemorate their participation, KOFS handed over their newly launched kit wear to the trainees.
“We are thrilled by the immense support from both the kids and their parents. It’s heartening to see such active participation and love for the sport,” said Andrea Fernandes, founder of KOFS.
With the overwhelming response, KOFS will commence regular coaching sessions at St Cruz and slowly expand in other parts of Goa.
