CANACONA: Stating 25 houses have been built under Shram-Dham for the needy people, BJP’s South-Goa candidate Pallavi Dempo praised Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar during her 2nd campaign visit to Canacona constituency for the Lok Sabha polls on Monday.
Dempo arrived straight at the Vithal Rakhumai Devasthan Temple at Dhavallkhazan, Agonda where she was received by Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar himself and took part in the prayers held for her and BJP’s success in the National General Elections at the Vithal Rakhaumai idol.
Addressing the locals, Dempo reminded the people of the best of the best developments carried out in Goa and named National Forensic University, Bio-Diversity Park at Molem and All Expressways in Goa including Manohar Parrikar Bypass road in Canacona.
“Last time, when I came to Canacona I visited the houses built by Speaker, he has built 20-25 houses under the Shram-Dham scheme. You are doing the best things for the people, Canacona is making remarkable developments with water supply, and underground cabling,” Pallavi Dempo, BJP candidate for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections from South Goa amazed by the ‘Shramdham’ scheme.
Later she interacted with the women and assured to remain with the people once elected, informing them how much the Prime Minister is concerned for the women and youths of this country, and why Goans should vote for BJP and strengthen the hands of Narendra Modi.
Pallavi’s next corner meeting was held at Vithal Rakhumai Mandir Sabhagruha, Rajbag-Tarir, while in the evening time held a corner meeting at Shree Sateri Devasthan Sabhagruha, Colsar (Galgibaga), thereafter another meeting at Shree Navgadurga Devasthan Sabhagruha, Iddar-Loliem.
In her inimitable style, Pallavi Dempo mingled with the ST woman during a corner meeting at Sanskrutik Bhavan, Amone (Poinguinim), and shortly later met and addressed residents of Khotigao in front of Panchayat Ghar, Khotigao.
By late evening Dempo was addressing a corner meeting near Bus-Stop, Indrawada (Gaondongrim) and on her way back scheduled to meet the residents of Gulem in Shristhal Village.
Including the Canaocna BJP Mandal, Mahila morcha, BJP Yuwa Sangh, Smt Pallavi was accompanied by many elected representatives such as Shanu Velip (ZP-Khola), CMC Chairperson Ramakant Naikgaunkar, Vice-Chairperson Narscisco Fernandes and most of the ruling and opposition Councillors, Sarpancha’s, and panch members, also attended the respective corner meetings in their village areas.
