Panaji: Women & Child Development Minister Vishwajit Rane assured the Goa Assembly that all pending Laadli Laxmi applications from the last three years will be cleared soon.
He said the government has introduced several relaxations in the scheme and a detailed review will be conducted to identify applications pending for over a year and determine the causes of delay.
Rane’s assurance came following directives from Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to streamline disbursement under flagship women-centric welfare schemes.
In addition, the Minister said one-time applications under the Griha Aadhar scheme—many of which have been pending for more than a year—will be processed within the coming week.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring timely support for eligible women under both schemes.
