PANAJI: Pernem Taluka women’s team emerged winners at the 12th Goa State Senior Tennis Ball Cricket Championship (women) organised by Antruz Art & Sports Academy in collaboration with Goa Tennis Ball Cricket Association, held at Kuncolim, Priol Goa on 6th November 2022…
Sattari Taluka were runner-up team… Bicholim & Ponda Taluka got Joint-3rd place.
Final Score:-
Batting first Pernem Taluka scored 28 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 6 overs, Sharada Araundekar scored 12 runs & Kashi scored six runs, and Sattari Santoshi Tuyekar took five wickets, including Hatrick; in reply, Sattari scored 21 runs in 6 overs with the loss of 2 wickets, Tanuja Gaonkar scored 11 runs scoring nine runs.
Earlier, Pernem & Sattari qualified for finals by the top two teams in super league matches.
Bicholim & Ponda bagged the joint 3rd Place.

3. Best All Rounder – Pratiksha Gadekar, Pernem
4. Best Exciting player – Satlaj Parab, Sattari.

Sandhya Paliekar, Vice President, GTBCA, Rupesh Naik, Virendra Majik, Ramdas Varak, Kirtan Vaiz(All Taluka Convenors, GTBCA ), Haresh Parsekar, Ajinkya Naik and others were present for the prize distribution function.
Total eight talukas participated in the championship.
