PANAJI: Goa University organized the Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi Championship for Women 2023-24 on 14th December 2023 at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, Goa University.
P.E.S’s S.R.S.N. College of Arts & Science, Farmagudi won Inter Collegiate Kabaddi Women Championship 2023-24 by defeating Vidya Prabodhini College of Commerce, Education, Computer and Management, Parvari by a score of 59-45.
Earlier in the semis finals in the P.E. S’s S.R.S.N. College of Arts & Science, Farmagudi defeated Shree Mallikarjun & Shri.Chetan Manju Desai College of Arts and Commerce, Canacona by a score of 17-14 and Vidya Prabodhini College of Commerce, Education, Computer and Management, Parvari defeated Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Sanquelim by a score of 49-28.
Best player was awarded to Alisha Akarkar of P.E. S’s S.R.S.N. College of Arts & Science, Farmagudi
In total, 12 women’s teams participated in the Inter College Kabaddi Championship 2023-24.
Chief Guest for the presentation ceremony Dr. Amavel Murty, Medical Officer, Goa University along with Mr. Balachandra Jadar, Asst. Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University presented medals and trophies to the winners and runners-ups.
