SANGUEM: Bharatiya Janata, Party leader of Sanguem Subhash Phaldesai, rubbished the allegations made against him by Savitri Kavlekar, wife of Deputy Chief Minister Babu Kavlekar, during the public meeting in Sanguem.
Phaldesai challenged Kavlekar to prove the allegations and suggested that she not fire the shot in the air.
Speaking at the press conference held at Rivona, Phaldessai rubbished the allegations made against him by Savitri Kavlekar, calling it baseless and false.
He also termed this public meeting directionless and has condemned the tone and the language used during this meet. Phaldesai said, “through this meeting, they wanted to create drama publicly and wanted to malign my image.”
While addressing to press conference, Subhash Phaldesai said that the Kavlekar should not simply make any allegation without proper proof. “If the allegations have the truth and base, Savitri Kavlekar should prove it. She should not just fire a shot in the air,” he said.
Furthermore, Phaldesai added that “those who are calling me a goon and a demon in the meeting of Savitri Kavalekar have stayed in my house for the last ten years. Didn’t they see that I was a goon at that time? He questioned.
He assured the Sanguem people that he would quit politics if she proved the allegations were found true.
Sanguem BJP mandal president Bayo Bhandari, ZP panchayat member Suresh Kepekar, Ex MLA of Sanguem Vasudev Meg Gaokar, Sanguem BJP general secretary Rajesh Gaokar, Yuva morcha president Prajyot Gaokar were also present for press conference.
