CALANGUTE: After being transferred to the Reserve Police a few days ago, Police Inspector Paresh Naik has been brought back to the Calangute Police Station.
A few days ago, Naik was transferred to the reserve lines due to the law and order issue at Tito’s Lane in Baga.
The public and online users expressed outrage about the PI’s transfer, claiming that the department had taken action against the honest officer for standing up to bouncers hired by certain club owners in Delhi who were abusing two young Canca residents.
Along with Paresh Naik, PSI Kiran Naik was transferred as well.
Police sources confirmed that a sincere and upright officer has been transferred in the aftermath of his taking action against the nightclub.
