Quepem: Quepem Police have registered an offence based on a state complaint filed by ASI Santosh Naik in connection with a rash and negligent riding incident that took place on 25 November 2025 near Kalimoda, opposite the Ambaulim bus stop.
According to the complaint, the accused — Prashanth Kangralka, resident of Padamoll, Sirvoi, and rider of a Royal Enfield motorcycle — was allegedly riding in a rash and negligent manner while travelling from Ambaulim towards Cuncolim. At around 10:00 am, he reportedly rammed into an Activa scooter moving in the same direction.
Due to the impact, the pillion rider of the Activa, Sebastiana Carvalho of Ambaulim, Quepem, sustained injuries to her head and other parts of her body. The accused rider also suffered injuries in the collision.
Further investigation is underway with ASI Santosh Naik of Quepem Police Station.
