Punjab: Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a powerful warning to Pakistan from the frontline Air Force Station in Adampur, Punjab, declaring that no part of Pakistan is safe for terrorists anymore. Addressing troops while standing in front of India’s advanced S-400 air defence system, PM Modi dismissed Islamabad’s false claims of having damaged the base, asserting India’s military strength and strategic readiness.
“There is no corner left in Pakistan where terrorists can sit in peace. We can target them wherever they are,” said the Prime Minister, sending a clear message to Pakistan’s military establishment and the terror groups it is accused of sheltering.
Referring to the Indian armed forces’ precision strikes on terror infrastructure, PM Modi said, “The thought of our drones and missiles gives them sleepless nights. Our forces have demonstrated to Pakistan that they cannot hide terrorists anywhere within their borders.”
PM Modi emphasized that India’s new security doctrine, showcased in Operation Sindoor, represents a decisive shift in how the country responds to cross-border terrorism. “This is the new normal,” he said, stressing that India will no longer hesitate to act against threats originating from across the border.
He further warned Pakistan’s military that India will not offer any leeway to protect terrorist elements. “Pakistan now has only two options — end terrorism or face annihilation. Either dismantle the terror infrastructure or perish as a state,” the Prime Minister said.
PM Modi also used the occasion to expose Pakistan’s misinformation campaign. Contrary to claims by Pakistan that its JF-17 fighter jets had destroyed the Adampur airbase and rendered it inoperable, the Prime Minister’s landing at the station and address to the troops served as a direct rebuttal. Sources revealed that Pakistan used morphed satellite images to propagate false narratives about damage to the base.
After his visit, PM Modi posted on X (formerly Twitter):
“Earlier this morning, I went to Air Force Station Adampur and met our brave air warriors and soldiers. It was a very special experience to be with those who epitomize courage, determination, and fearlessness. India is eternally grateful to our armed forces for everything they do for our nation.”
In his nearly 30-minute address, PM Modi reiterated India’s unwavering resolve to combat terrorism and emphasized that any future provocations would be met with swift and decisive retaliation.
