PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant has confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Partagali Math in Canacona on November 28.
The Chief Minister made the announcement while chairing a meeting of the BJP core committee, during which several key organisational and administrative matters were discussed.
Dr. Sawant also announced that a statewide ‘Vande Mataram’ program will be held on November 7 at 10 a.m. to commemorate 150 years of the national song. The anthem will be sung simultaneously across schools, government offices, and BJP offices throughout Goa.
The core committee meeting also reviewed preparations for upcoming events, including the celebration of Birsa Munda Jayanti, discussions related to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) drive, and the forthcoming Zilla Panchayat elections.
The Chief Minister said all necessary arrangements will be made to ensure the success of both the Vande Mataram program and the Prime Minister’s visit later this month.
