Panaji: Saligao police created awareness on Covid via loud speaker at saligao market and other crowded places including residential areas. Also drive was carried out against the violators especially those who are selling chicken at market areas without use of face mask.
The police informed the buyers, sellers and the residents about the increase in Covid cases and requested not to come out of house unless it is atmost necessity. Also urged them to compulsory wear face masks all the time, mantain social distancing at crowded places and use senitizer regularly. Also briefed people about phase wise vaccination drive organised by Govt. of India and Goa and urged them to receive vaccine as per their turn.
