MAINA: Maina–Curtorim Police have registered a case against former members of the Anjuman Society’s executive committee, including former President Asharaph Pandiyal, former President and Chairman Zameer Ahmed, former Manager and executive member Hussain Kalholi.
According to the police, the action follows a complaint filed by teacher Nafiasa Shaikh, who alleged that the accused threatened her, abused her, and pressured her to give a false statement. She also claimed they attempted to remove her from her job.
Police have booked the accused under BNS Act 351(2) read with Section 3(5). Officers said the investigation is currently underway and further action will be taken based on the findings.
