ANJUNA: Anjuna police has registeted FIR against six for assaulting and threatening one businessman Roy Fernandes from Verla-Bardez.
FIR registered against Rohan Harmalkar from Divar and six others. U/s 326, 341. 365, 506(ii) R/w 34 IPC.
According to police at around accused Rohan Harmalkar R/o Diwar and four other unknown persons, with their common intention assaulted Agni Ahmed staff of complainant, with Knuckle Duster on his nose and there after they abducted him and put him in white colour Bolero Car, took him at Verla Canca.
Later they estrained the complainant and his manager Emmanuel D’Souza while they were proceeding to Anjuna from Verla Canca, with their four wheeler vehicle and assaulted the complainant with Wodden Danda on his leg and also assaulted him with metal pipe over his head and threatened him with dire consequences.
So also they assaulted Mr. Emmanuel D’Souza due to which he sustain fracture injury to his left leg
