PONDA: As the 2022 Assembly elections are approaching fast, the contesting politicians from all political parties are making every effort to win the election right from seeking blessings of deities in various temples, filing nominations by seeing auspicious muhurta, and now all of them visiting Tapobhoomi Kundaim for blessings of Brahemeshanand Swami.
The candidates visiting Tapobhoomi said they wanted blessings and congratulate Swamiji, who got the Padma Shri award for spiritual and cultural contributions.
Politicians started rushing at Tapobhoomi Kundaim to bless Padama Shri Brahemeshanand Swami for his blessings and favours. Swamiji, too with his smiles, offers fruits and flowers in the form of blessings.
Tapobhoomi Swami has a lot of disciples all over Goa, and by meeting their guru at Tapobhoomi, the politicians not only aims to win his blessings but also to impress and win the heart of his disciples spread across Goa, who can vote in elections.
The politicians who visited for the blessings of Brahemeshanand Swami include Panjim’s independent candidate Utpal Parrikar, Aldona BJP candidate Glen Tichlo, AAP Mapusa Candidate Rahul Mahabre, TMC Cumbarzuva candidate Samil Volvoikar, MGP Bicholim Candidate Naresh Sawal, Ponda BJP candidate Ravi Naik and Mapusa BJP candidate Joshua D’Souza.
Gomantak Bhandari Samaj President Ashok Naik too visited Swamiji to congratulate him after Union Government honoured him with the highest civilian award Padma Shri.
