PANJIM: Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship launched the online admissions to ITI and student data management system with an aim to bring efficiency in the complete admission process and to manage crucial student data, facilitate easy monitoring of students’ activities.
With this launch, students will no longer require to buy a hard copy of the prospectus from designated centers. Also this will make the process easy, intuitive and time saving.
Further, this online admission process will help student create a pre-filling of trade preferences, instead of waiting on the day of the rounds, as done earlier. This will also generate bulk student registration numbers a complete history of the student right from admission to placement.
“The Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has been making concentrated efforts towards the implementation of an efficient and transparent mechanism to transform the system by leveraging the benefits of information technology.” Said Minister Viswajit Rane during the online launch
He said, “we are happy to announce the launch of online admissions to ITI and student data management system with an aim to bring forth efficiency in the complete admission process and to manage crucial student data, facilitate easy monitoring of students’ activities.”
Rane further informed that the departments main aim is to bring Goa one step closer to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi vision of Digital India and Skill India.
