PANAJI: Goa Police’s Crime Branch detained a 20-year-old Porvorim youngster on suspicion of narcotics possession and confiscated money, a motorcycle, and a cell phone from him. Nihal Panwale is the name of the accused
Police claim that after the accused was allegedly caught in possession of a suspected MDMA substance weighing 15.640 grams, he was placed under custody.
According to the police, the suspects also had one scooter, Rs 1,200 in cash in various denominations, and a cell phone, which together were valued at almost Rs 2.5 lakh on the global market.
An offence has been registered and the case is being investigated under the supervision of Dy SP Rajesh Kumar and SP, Crime, Rahul Gupta, IPS.
